I am sure many of you have been curious what school is like these days for your children. Now that we are in a pandemic, I am sure that curiosity has doubled. It's been a bit of an experiment trying to find the best way for students to engage while also abiding by COVID safety protocols. It's a fine line, but I think we are getting there! Today, during my 7th period class, I only had two students who were virtual, but I wanted my in-person students to be able to engage with each other. I put students into breakout rooms to work through their assignment together. They enjoyed it and I was so happy to hear all of the math talk happening. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into our plexiglass-filled, still-in-progress, hygge-inspired classroom.
